A Black bear is not like a teddy bear

A black bear is not like a teddy bear,
A black bear has cold, wet down hair.
A teddy bear is dry, warm, fluffy and cute,
Black bears won’t scatter unless you shoot.
Teddy bears are always snuggling your side,
Black bears may run far away or hide.
Teddy bears may fool you with their cute looks,
Black bears looks are like black, curved hooks.
A black bear is not like a teddy bear.

The Black Hills Ring

Deep in my parents drawer,
There is a ring.
Not just any ring,
But my great, great, great grandparent’s ring.
Passed down for more than a century,
Generation to generation.
Gold, with black and brown leaves,
Oh so valuable, not only to me, but my family.
Introduced from the Black Hills blacksmiths,
Carried to Ireland and Germany, on to America.
If you observe it closely, you’ll find,
Something cool enough to blow your mind

Lucy and the Conductor

Lucy played chicken with a train,
The train played chicken with Lucy.
The train tracks were juicy,
The juice was Lucy.
How, oh how that train won.
The conductor woke to find,
He was flying at 200 mph towards a mine.
His loss was sad, ending with a bang,
When workers found him, he had a new fang!

Concordia, Missouri

Concordia, Missouri
Fall makes me the happiest,
In fall, I like to eat,
Turkey from my fresh harvest,
And sausage
And cheese
And pie
And macaroni,
In fall, I hear gunshots,
And music
And cows
And chickens
And pigs
At my grandma’s farmhouse,
I also smell cows,
And food
And split wood
And fresh cut grass
And Missouri mud
In the town of Earnestville
I love to go search for streams with my brother
I feel safe, warm, and cozy
Not only in bed,
But all the time

Life is a crazy thing

This crazy thing called life

As I sit and think hard today,
I realize what I need to say.
My mind is warped and out of it,
I’ll never give up and just quit.
No one feels my pain,
Like I’m riding all alone on a crazy train.

I’ll ride until cannot ride longer,
And when my time as come to end this ride,
I will not run away or try to hide.
Life is like a big, speeding, crazy train.

Christmas Joy

Here is my Christmas poem!
CHRISTMAS JOY

Christmas is full of joy,
Every memory, every toy.
We celebrate by giving,
Just as Christ sacrificed for our living.
Some believe Christmas is about presents and receiving,
I believe that they wrongly believing.
Others may think about kissing that special someone under the mistletoe,
Merry Christmas,

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving Day
We Attempted Write Thanksgiving Day Poems!!(:
I‘m thankful for a roof over my head,
And a warm, cozy, bed.
I’m thankful for the lord up above,
And this warm, friendly, love
My gratitude toward heaven, friends, family, and food,
Will permanently change my downing mood.
I love you family and heaven,
Let us celebrate this day.

Why I love Thanksgiving
I love being a lazy bum,
And eating until I can’t run.
The food is great, I am stuffed,
With plenty of food to go.
This scale says a big number,
but I think it is broken,
Oh, I love Thanksgiving!
